The officers assign loot based on DKP, raid attendance, and need for the item. We use a time based DKP system.
*Even though we base our decisions on DKP, the officers retain the right to assign loot against DKP for any reason such as attendance or need for the item. *The DKP sites are not public so please don't ask how much DKP you have. The Officers all have access to these sites and regularly check them to make sure they are accurate. *In order to be considered for loot, you must attend 75% of the raids for the prior month. Raiders that attend 75% or more of the raids will be assigned loot before those who haven't, regardless of how much DKP they have earned. This does not apply to those who have set work schedules that cause them to attend less than 75% and those who actively let the officers know their schedule. DKP Decay - For every raid missed beyond 25%, you will start losing DKP unless you have spoken to an officer and/or made a post. Standbys - Invites to raids are based on attendance. Standbys are just as important as the members who are in the raid because they keep the raid going quickly if someone disconnects or has to suddenly leave. Standby attendance counts toward raid attendance and standbys will also receive DKP. *If you don't get into a raid and will be online and available to be a standby, please whisper Faye so you can be added to the standby list. If you log on late and can be a standby, make sure you whisper Faye and you will still get some of the points depending on how late you are. Standbys must be online in some form either in game or on Vent and available at a moment's notice. You don't have to stay outside of the instance or on your main, but please make sure you can quickly switch and be ready for a summon or ready to get to the instance as soon as possible. Initiates - The guild's initiate period is 2 weeks. Initiates may still earn DKP during their initiate period, but will not be eligible for loot before until they are promoted to member status. If all raiding members pass on the item, the initiate may then roll for it. |
